JWU Clubs + Organizations

Student life at JWU

Find Your Passion
From theater and ice carving to Quidditch, karate and everything in between, do what you love at JWU.

Getting involved with extracurricular activities is one of the best ways to round out your college experience. It’s also an ideal way to get to know your peers, your campus and the surrounding city.

Make Friends for Life
Join a fraternity, sorority or community service group to develop socially, intellectually, professionally — and build lifelong friendships.

Being a member of a fraternity or sorority means always being ready to lend a hand. Emphasizing community outreach as much as high scholastic achievement, activities include:

  • Peer tutoring and counseling
  • Chapter study hours
  • Special scholarships and awards
  • Philanthropic events throughout the year

Step Up + Stand Out
Go beyond the classroom in our professional clubs: Build your resume, network, compete — and win!

Joining JWU’s National Student Organizations (NSO) is a great way to build career-ready skills and make professional connections in your chosen industry while you’re still a student.

Joining JWU NSO automatically grants you membership to:

  • Business Professionals of America (BPA)
  • Collegiate DECA
  • Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)
  • HOSA
  • Junior Achievement (JA)
  • National FFA
  • Phi Beta Lambda (PBL)- SkillsUSA
  • Technology Students Association (TSA)

In addition to the benefits that you receive as a member of each of these groups, you are invited to participate in one or more of the active career-focused organizations on campus. You’ll gain specialized and practical skills from professional advisors in any of the divisions you join.

Start a Club
If we don’t have a particular club you’re looking for, you can start one! (It’s easy.)

Join The Involvement Network
Explore, join + keep up with student-run clubs and organizations via The Involvement Network on jwuLink.

Each club has its own profile page where you can post as well as see who else is a member. Join the group to get regular updates about club activities. We can’t wait to meet you!

Joining [Ad Team] was my absolute favorite part of JWU. I learned the most, created my best work — and made some of my best friends.

Rob, Ad Team

DECA helps students really figure out who they are and find a place in this world — by allowing them to shine and become the best they can be.
